Castello di Rubbia Leonard 2007 - IGT

Leonard is a 100% Malvasia d'Istria. The name is that of Natasa's grandfather from whom she took the passion for wine.

An unusual example of the Malvasia grape, deep yellow in colour with some hints of green, and a lovely fruity bouquet, but with the added complexity of spending time in oak barrels during maturation. The use of Slovenian oak compared to French oak gives a far more subtle taste to the wine and is less overpowering.
